Covid-19 Policy and Guidance

Thank you for taking the time to read my Covid-19 policy. By the of the reading you will have a clear understanding how I make my classes safe for you and your baby during to be able to enjoy this special bonding time and to experience the power of loving touch in these unprecedented times. I am extremely excited to re-open my face to face baby massage courses, but obviously due to current circumstances there are some strict measures that I have to put in place in line with Government guidelines. 

Steps to keep classes safe


  • Class numbers will be lower to allow for safe distancing.

  • You will be asked not to attend if you or a member of your family has any Covid-19 like symptoms.

  • Hand sanitiser will be available to use before, during & after classes.

  • All areas and equipments will be sanitised after each class.

  • Windows will be open when possible & practical during & between classes.

  • You must bring all you need for each class as the only equipment I will be able to provide at present is a yoga mat for baby. I do ask you to bring a towel or blanket for baby to lie on. 

  • By attending my classes you consent to not hold the venue used or Little Steps Baby Massage liable for any illness you may contract following baby massage & by being in the same room as others.

  • In the event of the instructor being ill a class maybe cancelled at short notice. This will be rescheduled.

  • Unfortunately for health and safety reasons I won’t be able provide any refreshments, so I have ask you kindly to bring your own

  • Full Covid-19 Risk Assessment

On arrival to the venue


  • Please arrive 10 minutes before the class starts to allow for new health & safety procedures and allow enough time to settle

  • On entering my classes you certify that you have not been in close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19. You or your baby do not have a cough, fever or have had vomiting or diarrhoea in the previous 48 hours.

  • Please bring a face mask, venue require you to wear one on entering, moving around & leaving (unless you are exempt). You will not have to wear a mask during the class unless you wish to. *I will have a few disposable masks available.

  • Babies don’t have to wear face mask

  • Please use hand sanitiser when you first enter to the venue.

  • Toilets are available to use and operate on a one in one out basis

  • Please bring only essentials for you & baby to classes.

  • All classes are dependant on Government guidelines. In case of changes in Government guidelines or any future lockdown, please be aware dates may change or you may be offered online classes as an alternative (held via Zoom), no fees are returned.


During class


  • “Mask to mat policy” which means once you are settled with your baby on your mat you can remove your face covering unless you really want keep it on. 

  • Once masks are removed, please stay with your baby and your mat in your area.

  • I provide you with your own sealed oil that you will need to bring with you to each session


Leaving Classes


  • Please make sure you pick up all your belongings.

  • Please leave the hall promptly after class as it will need sanitising before the next class.

  • There will be sanitising wipes in toilet areas. Please help us to minimise contamination by wiping down surfaces you have used ready for the next person.

  • At the end of class upon leaving the venue please maintain social distancing and give time to the person ahead of you to exit.
